How does DOGLOC work?

DOGLOC uses a patented locking clasp and reinforced steel cable to help protect your dog from theft. Just wrap the leash around a fixed object, clip it to the collar, and lock it using the included key.

Reinforced with a stainless-steel core, DOGLOC is cut-resistant, deterring opportunistic theft using everyday tools (like scissors or small knives). While no system is 100% invulnerable, this design prioritizes security without sacrificing style.

Can someone unclip the DOGLOC collar when locked?

No. When locked, the leash and collar become a single, tamper-resistant system—only removable with the key to ensure your dog stays safe.

Can I use DOGLOC like a normal leash?

Absolutely. Use DOGLOC just like your favorite leash and collar for everyday walks. When needed, engage the lockable clasp for café stops, errands, or tethering safely.

Can I use a harness with DOGLOC?

Yes! Simply clip to your dog’s harness during regular walks, then switch to the collar to securely lock them when you step away.

Will DOGLOC fit my dog?

Available in Small and Medium to fit most small–medium breeds. For accuracy, please refer to our Size Guide before ordering. We intend to offer larger collar sizes soon.

Is DOGLOC water-proof?

DOGLOC is water-resistant but not fully waterproof. To protect the full-grain leather, avoid full submersion.

What happens if I lose a key to my DOGLOC?

Each DOGLOC set includes two keys. Keep one secure (e.g., on your keychain), and use the other as a backup. A locksmith can duplicate one of your originals if needed.
