Is the DOGLOC leash or collar cut-proof?
DOGLOC is reinforced with a concealed stainless steel cable, making the leash and collar highly resistant to cutting with everyday tools like scissors or knives. While no locking device is completely cut-proof, DOGLOC is engineered to deter fast, opportunistic theft—without compromising on style.
What if someone unclips the collar?
They can't. Once DOGLOC is locked, the collar and leash form a secure system that can’t be unclipped or removed without the key. The collar stays firmly in place around your dog’s neck, designed to prevent slipping, unclipping, or tampering.
Can I use DOGLOC even if I don’t need to lock it?
Absolutely. DOGLOC is designed for everyday use—comfortable, durable, and beautifully made. The locking feature is there when you need it, but it works just like your favourite leash and collar when you don’t.
Can I still use a harness with DOGLOC?
Yes! Clip the leash to your dog’s harness for walks. If you need to lock up, switch to the collar—it’s designed for quick, secure transitions.
Does it fit all dogs?
DOGLOC comes in two sizes—Small and Medium—designed to fit most small to medium breeds comfortably and securely. For the best fit, check our Size Guide before you order.
What if I lose the key?
Each DOGLOC comes with two keys. We recommend keeping one on your keychain and the other somewhere safe. If needed, a locksmith or key cutter can make a copy using one of your originals.
